The Habitat Penang Hill is thrilled to announce that we will be extending our operating hours to 9am to 9pm from 31 August 2024 onwards! Previously, visitors could explore our park until 7pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends. With these extended hours, guests can now immerse themselves in the rich and diverse 130-million-year-old rainforest well into the evening, offering an unparalleled opportunity to experience nature after dark.
A Unique Night-time Adventure Awaits
The extended hours provide a chance to see the forest in a whole new light. Witness our iconic attractions, The Langur Canopy Walk and Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk illuminate the night sky, providing a magical view of the treetops. In addition, guests might even spot nocturnal animals along the trails!
Last entry for this extraordinary experience will be at 6:30pm, so plan ahead!

While our trail will be lit, we recommend that guests bring their own flashlights to further enhance their night exploration experience. This will help you spot some of the incredible nocturnal fauna that call this forest home. As always, please follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by our knowledgeable Guest Experience Rangers.

There is no additional charge for the extended hours; it’s included with the Standard Entrance Pass, which gives you a full-day entry to The Habitat Penang Hill. Stay all day and enjoy the sights, or come later to experience the park after dark.
Important Note
While The Habitat remains open during the extended hours, The Habitat Café and Retail will close at 5pm, so be sure to grab any refreshments or souvenirs before then!

This enchanting experience aims to provide guests with a serene and unforgettable evening filled with camaraderie and indulgence.
The event begins with a mesmerizing sunset view from Curtis Crest and is perfected with an exclusive natural wine-tasting session, brought to you specially by Club SIPS. The wines showcased are imported from renowned vineyards in Spain and Italy, promising a delightful journey for wine enthusiasts. Each wine is exceptionally paired with a plant-based amuse-bouche, prepared by our in-house chef using carefully picked local spices and ingredients.
To extend the experience, Eythrope Penang Hill offers luxurious colonial residences for guests who wish to prolong their stay and bask in the comfort and warm hospitality provided. These residences offer spectacular views overlooking Penang City, allowing guests to wake up to breathtaking views and continue their journey of tranquility.
Registration for An Evening of Camaraderie, Naturally, is now open. But due to the exclusive nature of the event, seats are limited. Tickets start at RM 350 for the wine-tasting session and at RM 1,700 per couple for a luxurious stay at Eythrope Penang Hill.
